Booking Conditions

1. Deposits and confirmation

On receipt of your 20% non-refundable reservation deposit, we will send you confirmation of your booking, showing the arrangements booked, the balance due, payment details and dates. The contract then exists between you and La Ruinette Sàrl and this contract in all circumstances is governed by these booking conditions.

You will be liable for any breakages or damage to the property or adjacent apartments during your stay caused by you or any member of your party, your employees or visitors to the apartment. A 20% damage deposit will also be taken, refundable within 14 working days if there is no damage to the property. If any damage exceeds the deposit, you will be responsible for the additional costs.

2. Balance payment

Full payment of the balance as shown on your confirmation invoice is due 60 days prior to your arrival. If the payment is not received at this point, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy cancellation charges as detailed below.

3. Payment methods

When due, deposit and balance payments should be made by direct bank transfer. Details will be on the invoice.

4. Alterations and cancellations by you

All alterations should be made in writing and will come into effect on the day they are received. You hereby agree to indemnify La Ruinette Sàrl for any reasonable expenses incurred in making an amendment. Should you wish to cancel your booking for whatever reason, this should also be made in writing and charges will be levied as follows:

- Prior to 60 days before your arrival any deposit shall be forfeited (unless the deposit is paid by credit card in which case the deposit will be refunded in full if cancellation is received within 24 hours of payment being taken).

- Within this 60 day period, 100% of the booking shall be due and payable to La Ruinette Sàrl unless we are able to resell the apartment in which case the difference will be refunded.

5. Alterations and cancellation by La Ruinette Sàrl

In the unlikely event that any alteration is made by La Ruinette Sàrl which is deemed to be significant (for example, a change of booking date), you have the right to cancel the holiday and receive a full refund of monies already paid. La Ruinette Sàrl shall not be liable for any refund should we be forced to cancel or change your holiday due to circumstances amounting to Force Majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorism, industrial disruption, natural disasters, fire, adverse weather, governmental action, government travel restrictions due to health reasons and similar events beyond our control.

6. Your responsibilities

You will indemnify La Ruinette Sàrl for all losses and/or damage arising from any act or default on your part or the part of any member of your party. You will ensure that you have in your possession all necessary and valid travel documents. You accept that you ski and enjoy other winter sports at your own risk within the restrictions imposed by the resort or other authorities. We are not responsible for your actions and these restrictions.

7. Our responsibilities

We are responsible for any injury or death, damage or loss of property, if proven to be by our direct negligence but not for any other accident, injury or death, loss or damage that might occur.

8. Insurance

It is the condition of every booking that each member of your party is covered by personal holiday insurance, and that the policy covers you adequately for winter sports, third party risks and costs incurred from damage to property or adjacent properties during your stay caused by you or any member of your party, your employees or visitors to the property.

9. Unaccompanied Children

La Ruinette Sàrl will not be held responsible for any children left unattended within our apartments.

10. Animals

No animals are allowed in the apartments without prior written consent from La Ruinette Sàrl. An increased damage deposit and one off cleaning charge will be required as part of this consent. If during the stay, damage is caused by the animal we reserve the right to ban the animal from the property immediately.

11. Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited. The management reserve the right to remove any group breaking this condition from the property without refund. In the event that smoking has occurred within the property an additional cleaning charge of CHF 500 will be payable to La Ruinette Sàrl immediately.

12. Footwear

It is not permitted to wear outdoor footwear, high heels or ski boots within any of our apartments. Damages caused by non compliance will be charged (see point 1).

13. Keys

On arrival at the apartment you will be issued with a number of keys for the apartment. If the same number of keys is not returned to the staff at the end of your stay a charge to replace these keys or to change the locks will be payable to La Ruinette Sàrl. This may deducted from the credit card details given.

14. Visitors

No additional persons other than those identified in the initial booking may reside at the apartment during the rental period without prior agreement of La Ruinette Sàrl. If these additional guests are invited to eat or stay overnight, La Ruinette Sàrl reserve the right to charge extra for the services provided.
